Chef Jeff wants you and your guests to enjoy an extraordinary and memorable culinary experience. Every effort will be made from your first contact with Chef Jeff thru completion of your selected service to ensure your satisfaction. The following policies are intended to make sure that your event happens as anticipated. Client satisfaction is our number 1 priority.

By using this site, you agree to comply with the policies identified. Please review these policies carefully. If you do not agree with these policies, do not use this web, site or order any food or service from us.

SUBJECT/POLICY:

1. OVEN TO TABLE DINNERS:
Note the price includes your choice of an entrée, side, vegetable and dessert. These dinners come in 3 beautiful oven-safe, gourmet stoneware dishes which are ready for your oven.

2. A “Gourmet Stoneware fee”
$45 is added to all dinners. $45 per dinner is refundable to your credit card if you choose to return the gourmet stoneware clean and undamaged during normal business hours. Please call Chef Jeff to see if other schedule arrangements can be made if needed.

3. A “SILENT CHEF JEFF - ORDER CONFIRMATION NOTICE”
This will be sent by email confirming all orders and addressing any special requirements identified by the client. This personal confirmation notice from Chef Jeff is your guarantee that your order request has been received, reviewed, and be available when requested.

4. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
These are printed on a label attached to each item ordered. At time of pick up, you are encouraged to ask questions about cooking and final preparation. All entrees require 1 hour or less in the oven.

5. DINNER PICKUP:
To maintain freshness and quality of entrées, please pick up your “From Oven To Table Dinner” at our store on the scheduled pick-up day & time during office hours. Dinners not picked up will be kept refrigerated for a maximum of 3 days and then discarded with payment retained. Delivery is avilable, conditions apply.

6. PRIVATE CHEF SERVICES and PRIVATE COOKING PARTIES:
There are no fees charged for the initial consultation (usually about an hour if done at the show room) to define your unique dinner or event and to prepare a detailed cost estimate.

If you would like the consultation done in the privacy of your own home, there will be a small service fee which will be refundable if the event is scheduled. The estimate will include a list of food choices, number of guests expected, time/date/location of service, use of client facilities, equipment needed and the time required of Chef Jeff and other service staff. All required state and local taxes along with any charges for additional services requested will be identified in the estimate.

The estimate will be sent by E-mail for your review and approval. A contract will be provided for signature and a partial payment collected. The balance will be collected at completion of service.

7. GIFT CERTIFICATES:
These are a wonderful way to show your appreciation and gratitude to friends and business associates for lots of reasons. Gift certificates are available at the office.

8. PAYMENT OPTIONS:
VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVERY and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards are accepted.

For “Private Chef Services” and “Private Cooking Parties”, a 50% partial payment is due upon contract signing. The balance is due upon completion of service. A check is also accepted for these 2 types of service.

9. CANCELLATIONS:
Orders for “From Oven To Table Dinners” can be cancelled with a full refund with a minimum of 2 days notice. For “Private Chef Services” and “Private Cooking Parties”, these orders can be cancelled for a full refund with 2 weeks notice.

10. RETURNED CHECKS:
Any check returned will be subject to a $35 NSF fee and a cancellation of order.

11. NEED A PRINTED INVOICE:
upon request, these will be provided thru E-mail.

12. DISCLAIMERS:
Chef Jeff is trained and educated in the proper handling of food and safety and utilizes these practices to bring you a fresh and enjoyable product. Please note, however, that you are responsible for continuing proper and safe food handling practices as soon as you have picked up you products.
